THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE
Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore is a brutal and darkly comic play set in 1993 on a remote island off the coast of Ireland. It follows Padraic, a violent and unpredictable Irish nationalist, who abandons his torture duties upon hearing that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, is ill. When he returns home to discover the cat is actually dead, his grief spirals into a blood-soaked quest for vengeance.

MIDNIGHT MURDER AT HAMLINGTON HALL
Tonight, is The Middling Cove Players opening night of their next production Midnight Murder at Hamlington Hall, however 7 of the cast have called in sick, but as they say “The Show Must Go On". With only the Director and two cast members left standing they decide that the show really MUST go on and with the help of the reluctant stage manager, her teenage niece and an unwilling audience member, opening night forges ahead. The performance takes shape in this hilarious comedy that reflects the chaos that live theatre can be.
